I am a freelance graphic designer for about 2 years. Many people wonder how you can survive because they know that they do not have large customers.

Most graphic designers, especially beginners cares too much about having big clients, big job with big bucks. Well, there is nothing wrong with that. But sometimes they forget about their options, as freelancers do all the work that ideally should be done by more than one person. The result is that they can not concentrate and focus on the creative process, which is the main job. For this reason they can not meet their customers requirements.

Guess what?

Customers will meet and … … they never go back!

So, what is the big deal for big clients, big job with a lot of money if you only once for a while? Actually you only Getting bad name.

I personally do not care for large customers and large jobs. Big bucks? Yes! I care. But big money does not always come from large customers. How can I do?

Continuity. This is the answer.

Small jobs such as small customers consistently and continuously is more important than a large company of large customers, after some time for Friday

During my career as a freelance graphic designer, I focus on small and medium-sized enterprises, as my target market. This is more than enough for me. She regularly because they satisfied the first job I do. Actually I have the free trade of the recommendation from one customer to another.

Acquiring new customers is not easy, but (trust me) … the return is even harder. So treat them professionally and personally yet. Call them after a while just to say and see how you were doing, if you have not heard from them for some time. Creating an open communication to make both parties comfortable, so it is easier to understand what customers need in the projects.

Treat your customers the same, instead of longer, because no matter how large (or small) of the client (or project) is that they have the same rules: First what you paid, just in time.
